Start with a few closely related seeds. A focused topic is easier to turn into a useful content plan than a large collection of unrelated terms.

Read the results

The report shows keyword ideas alongside Search Volume, Competition, Comp. Index, CPC, Low Bid, and High Bid. Click a column heading to sort, or use Columns to choose what you see.

  • Use Search Volume to compare demand for relevant terms.
  • Read the Search Volume Trend to spot changes over time. Hide gives the table more room; Show restores the chart.
  • Treat competition and bid figures as advertising metrics, not organic ranking difficulty.

For booking.com, terms such as hotels in New York, hotels in Chicago, and hotels in Miami suggest different content needs. Keep the ones your website can answer well, rather than choosing only the highest volume.

Keep the useful ideas

Select Save to List to create a list from all keywords or only keywords with volume. Enter a list name and select Save Keywords. You can also choose Append to existing list when a list already exists.
