# Choose and create a report

> Start with your SEO question, select a campaign, and open the tool that answers it.

Canonical: https://docs.georanker.com/docs/report-set-up

Start with one question you want the report to answer. That makes it easier to choose the right tool and keep the results useful.

## Choose your starting point

| Your question | Open in the sidebar |
| --- | --- |
| Where does my website rank? | **Rank Tracker** |
| Which keywords should I research? | **Keyword Research** |
| Which websites compete in search? | **SEO Competitors** |
| What appears in the search results? | **SERP Snapshot** |
| What should I inspect on a page? | **OnSite Analysis** |

The sidebar also includes **Keyword Lists**, **Broken Links**, **Backlinks**, and **Local Heatmap**. Open the relevant tool to check its available options.

## Create your first rank tracking report

1. [Select or create a campaign](https://docs.georanker.com/docs/campaign-getting-started) for your website.
2. Open **Rank Tracker**, then **New Rank Tracker Report**.
3. Choose the report scope, search engine, device, and result depth.
4. Add your website, keywords, and locations.
5. Review the summary, select **I confirm the inputs are correct**, and click **Create Report**.

See [create a rank tracking report](https://docs.georanker.com/docs/ranktracker) for the complete walkthrough.

## Find the result again

Open **Reports Library** and search for the report name. Give each report a useful name that identifies its market or device, such as `Booking US Mobile`.

Before creating another report, check whether the campaign already has one that answers the same question.
