Use **Keyword Lists** to organize terms around a topic, page, or campaign. Start with a focused list you can act on, such as the city hotel searches for booking.com.

## Create a list

1. Open **Keyword Lists** from the sidebar.
2. Select **Create List**.
3. Enter a clear **List Name**, such as **Booking city hotels**.
4. Paste your keywords in **Keywords (one per line)**.
5. Select **Create List** in the dialog.

```text
hotels in New York
hotels in Chicago
hotels in Miami
```

To bring in a shortlist from a spreadsheet, copy its keyword column without the heading and paste it into this field, one keyword per line.

## Save a research result as a list

Open a completed [Keyword Research report](https://docs.georanker.com/docs/keyword-suggestions-1) and select **Save to List**. Choose all keywords or only keywords with volume, enter a name, and select **Save Keywords**. Choose **Append to existing list** to add the report's keywords to a list you already use.

## Work with your list

Open its name in **Keyword Lists**. The table shows **Keyword**, **Volume**, and **Source**. You can sort those columns and page through longer lists.

To add more terms, paste them into **Add Keywords**, one per line, then select **Add Keywords**. Duplicate keywords are skipped automatically.

Use **Edit Details** to update the list's details or **Export CSV** to take it into a spreadsheet.

## Turn a list into a report

Select **Create Report** and choose **Rank Tracker**, **SERP Snapshot**, or **Heatmap**. Review the target, locations, and other report settings before running it.

Keep the list focused before starting a report. A broad hotel list can contain thousands of discovered terms; a shortlist for one city is easier to review and use for a particular SEO task.
