See which sites link to you, which pages attract links, and where your backlink profile is changing. Start with **Backlink Intelligence** for the overview, then choose a focused report when you have a specific question.

## Create your first report

1. Select your project and open **Backlinks**.
2. Click **New Report**.
3. Add an optional **Report Name**, such as `Booking backlink profile`.
4. Enter a domain in **Target**, for example `booking.com`.
5. Under **Select Endpoint**, choose **Backlink Intelligence**.
6. Click **Next: Configure Options**.
7. Keep **Include Subdomains** on to include links pointing to subdomains, or turn it off to narrow the scope.
8. Click **Create Report**. Open the completed report from the report list.

The report name helps you distinguish repeat checks. Keep the target and subdomain setting consistent when comparing results.

## Read the overview

The dashboard brings together **Referring Domains**, **Total Backlinks**, **New Links**, **Lost Links**, and the **Authority Trend** chart. Referring domains count different linking sites; total backlinks can include many links from the same site.

Use **Link Profile Health** and **Link Attribute Distribution** to review the mix of follow, nofollow, UGC, text, and image links. **Top Linked Pages** helps you find the pages attracting links.

The illustrated report includes separate totals for referring domains and backlinks, with new and lost link lists below. In your own report, check the creation date before using those figures as a current baseline. An unavailable score is missing data, not a zero.

## Investigate a new or lost link

1. Click **View all new links** or **View all lost links** in the overview.
2. Review **Source Domain**, **Source URL**, **Anchor Text**, **DR**, and the detection or loss date.
3. Use the search field, column sorting, and **Columns** to narrow the list.
4. Open the source URL to check the link in context. For a useful lost link, check whether the linking page changed or the destination moved before deciding what to fix.
5. Click **Back to Report** to return to the overview.

## Choose a focused report

The **New Report** screen also offers these choices:

| Report | Use it to |
| --- | --- |
| Summary | Review a backlink profile summary. |
| Backlinks | Inspect individual backlinks, source pages, and anchors. |
| Referring Domains | Review the domains pointing to your target. |
| Anchors | Explore anchor text distribution. |
| History | Review monthly backlink trends. |
| New & Lost | Examine changes across a date range. |
| Competitors | Find domains sharing your backlink profile. |
| Domain Pages | Find pages with backlinks. |

For **Backlinks**, you can enter a full page URL as the target. On the options step, set a **Limit** of up to 1,000 results, choose **Live**, **Lost**, or **All** under **Backlinks Status**, and use **Mode** to show all results, one per domain, or one per anchor. **Referring Domains** also offers a result limit and status filter.

For **New & Lost**, set **Date From**, **Date To**, and **Group By** before creating the report.
